These terms apply to transport services provided by Delta Express Transport. The specific quotation or transport confirmation forms part of the agreement.
Transport orders
Transport is performed according to the agreed route, schedule, cargo information and price. The customer is responsible for providing accurate and timely information.
Cargo
The customer must provide accurate information about the nature, dimensions, weight, packaging and relevant characteristics of the cargo. Goods must be suitably packaged and safe to load.
Pricing
Website rates are indicative and are not a binding quotation. The final price is confirmed in the quotation or order confirmation. Tolls, tunnels, ferries and other route-specific costs may be charged separately.
Waiting and additional work
Waiting time and additional work may be charged according to the agreed rates. Delays caused by the customer, sender, recipient or loading/unloading location may result in additional costs.
Liability
Liability is governed by applicable Dutch law and, where applicable, mandatory transport-law provisions. Any applicable limitations and insurance conditions are applied to the extent permitted by law.
Payment
The payment period is stated on the quotation or invoice. Late-payment interest and reasonable collection costs may apply where legally permitted.
Cancellation
Cancellation or changes should be reported as soon as possible. Costs arising from work already performed, kilometres driven or reserved capacity may be charged.
Complaints
Complaints should be reported as soon as possible with enough information for us to investigate the matter.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies, subject to mandatory rules applicable to the relevant transport.
